Some people continually count the calories of everything they eat while others, the majority, seem to consume whatever they please. You probably know someone who is quite happy to eat other people’s leftovers and always has seconds! It’s the person with the sweet tooth you have to watch carefully! We all seem to seek this ‘instant gratification’ never considering how beneficial health supplements can be. The other health supplement I enjoy is whey protein which I only started drinking a little while ago. I suppose it’s the fact that you get so much protein and goodness from what is essentially a milk shake. The best thing about it is you can drink it at almost anytime although I enjoy mine around lunchtime. The other benefit is that they add about 30 grams of protein which really benefits muscle growth.

You see, these days, supplements are designed to only provide you with the minerals and vitamins that are beneficial to a healthy body. You can be sure that the dreaded four of salt, sugar, saturated fats and cholesterol aren’t there because our diets contain too much of these already. So what’s next?
